Overview of Controls



Recording
You can record videos with Logitech Composer by clicking the "Record" button. You can stop the recording process by clicking the "Stop" button. Unless the video is saved to your computer, the video created will be written over if the "Record" button is clicked again or if the Logitech Composer is closed.

Playback
To play back videos created or opened with the Logitech Composer, click the "Play" button. Clicking the "Stop" button will stop playback.

Play-Pause
To pause videos during playback, click the "Pause" button. Click the "Play" button when you wish to resume watching the video. Clicking the "Stop" button will stop the playback.

Timer
The timer clock represents 60 seconds and indicates the length of the video during recording. The top number shows the length of the recorded video. The bottom number indicates the maximum length of the video for your eBay listing.

Open an existing file from disk (importing a video)
To open a previously recorded video (videos must be in .AVI format), click the "Open an Existing File from Disk" button. In the dialog box that appears, select the video file from its location. The video will then be imported to Logitech Composer.

Saving a file to disk
To save a video to a hard disk that has been created with the Logitech Composer, click the "Save File to Disk" button. In the dialog box that appears, select a location on your computer and name the file. You can save your unedited video before uploading it by selecting the "Save Entire Movie" option. If your video has been edited within the Composer, you can also save this version of the video by selecting the "Save Edited Movie Only" option.

Select location for saving to local disk
When saving, select a location on your computer and name the file in the browser window that appears. This will save the video to your computer.

Play
To play back videos created or opened with the Logitech Composer, click the "Play" button. Clicking the "Stop" button will stop playback.

Pause
To pause videos during playback, click the "Pause" button. Click the "Play" button when you wish to resume watching the video. Clicking the "Stop" button will stop the playback.

Mute
To mute the sound of the video, click the "Mute" button, (the little speaker icon on the right side). This will mute all sounds on your computer. Click it again to remove the mute of the sound.
